October 1, 2020, King Naresuan International Exhibition and Convention Center, Naresuan University – Assistant Professor Dr. Napisa Waitoolkiat, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Naresuan University welcomes Professor Dr. Anek Laothammatas, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation during the “SMART UNIVERSITY CREATE INNOVATION FOR A BETTER LIFE” convention. Delivering his speech on the “Role of higher education institutions in the region to build economic competitiveness and reduce social inequality,” the minister also conveyed various government matters, including policies for development and management guidelines to regional university administrators.
This project leverages its potential on NU as an international education and learning center in the Northern Region. Assistant Professor Dr. Wasin Panyawuttrakul, lecturer of the Department of History, Faculty of Social Sciences, presented his research on the “Historical Travel Management Style: The creative culture and local wisdom of community business on the Sukhothai World Heritage City Route and linked areas – Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, and Phetchabun,” one of only three selected presentations during this convention.
