On 18 June 2024, the Faculty of Social Sciences, Naresuan University hosted a delegation from the Department of Applied Social Sciences, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The visit included a field trip to the Thai Parliament, where His Excellency Mr. Padipat Suntiphada, the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, welcomed the group and delivered an insightful talk on parliamentary operations. He also introduced the delegation to the parliament members during the ongoing session, a gesture of great honor.
This visit highlights the fruitful international collaboration between the two universities, aimed at enhancing educational opportunities and fostering global citizenship. Thai students from Naresuan University are also serving as “buddies” for international peers, promoting cross-cultural understanding and strengthening the partnership.
