The Faculty of Social Sciences at Naresuan University organized a special lecture titled “Approaches to Enhancing and Developing the Quality of Life for Persons with Disabilities through Higher Education Mechanisms” on August 7, 2024. The lecture aimed to provide faculty, students, and the general public with knowledge, understanding, and practical approaches for improving the quality of life for persons with disabilities.

The event featured Assistant Professor Dr. Theerapong Buakla from the Department of Public Administration at Burapha University, who is also the former Dean of the Faculty of Political Science and Law. As an expert in this field, Dr. Theerapong shared his experiences and insights on promoting the quality of life for persons with disabilities, which is a crucial mechanism for driving social change.

The lecture also provided an opportunity for participants to exchange ideas and build collaborative networks, contributing to the sustainable support and development of persons with disabilities in Thai society.

The Faculty of Social Sciences hopes that this initiative will enhance the understanding and knowledge of faculty, staff, students, and interested individuals about the importance of promoting and developing the quality of life for persons with disabilities. Additionally, the Faculty aims to encourage higher education institutions to take a more proactive role in this area through research, academic services, and lifelong learning.
